SculpSure

SculpSure is a non-invasive body contouring treatment intended for the purpose of permanent reduction of fat cells through non-surgical lipolysis. It causes apoptosis, which gently heats up fat cells in the targeted area and shrinks them so they can be removed naturally via the body’s lymphatic system.

In the weeks post-treatment, you will be able to see a permanent reduction in persistent, unwanted pockets of body fat.

How does SculpSure Work?

It involves using a hands-free heat laser belt that emits specific wavelengths to heat up the fat cells and eventually “melt” the fat cells via your lymphatic drainage system.

During the treatment, the therapist will wrap the treated area with a belt. Its applicators will be attached to the belt which will deliver a 1060-nanometer diode laser that reaches a temperature of 42°C to 47°C. This temperature is ideal for the degradation of fat cells while leaving the healthy cells unharmed.

Each treatment cycle takes about 25 minutes and it can destroy up to 24% of targeted fat cells without surgery. After the treatment, fat cells should not regenerate, as long as a strict diet and exercise plan is followed through.

With various applicators to fit a variety of body shapes and sizes, SculpSure can be performed on the abdomen, love handles, back, thighs, and chin.

It is particularly effective for people who have trouble getting rid of the excess pockets of stubborn fats that seem to be resistant to diet and exercises.

How Does It Feel During SculpSure Treatment?

Immediately after the treatment, some mild side effects may include temporary tenderness, swelling or tissue firmness in the treatment area. However, these side effects should subside within 24 hours.

How many sessions of SculpSure is required?

As a general rule of thumb, it is recommended to undergo 2 treatments per area 4-6 weeks apart. The number of sessions required depends largely on your body goals and the sculpting you need.
